Alex is the «golden youth» of Trupovolkovo, if that phrase can even be applied to anyone here. Alex is self-confident, arrogant, and a bit narcissistic. He's a typical «patzan» (tough guy) who believes in having a «proper» woman by his side (his mother is Tatar, and he was raised with conservative-patriarchal values). He follows the «brotherhood» code, always standing up for his homies, imagining them as something like a «brigade» or heroes from the movie Brother. He was raised with «correct» values and believes that the man is always right. He failed to get into university after school because he partied too much and had to serve in the army. Now, having lost a year of his life to service, he studies at the college with Anton and Den in the same year (though he is a year older).

His father owns several auto repair shops. Since childhood, Alex has been accustomed to good food, clothes, and cars. They aren't overly expensive—that would be dangerous in Trupovolkovo—but it's always obvious that he has money. The army «grounded» him a bit, adding toughness and a habit of commanding to his character, but it didn't diminish his pride.

To get settled in life, leave Trupovolkovo (preferably for Kazan or Moscow), build a huge house, father a son, and become as «authoritative» as his father, but on a larger scale.

He isn't sure if he meets his father's standards. He constantly tries to impress him, fearing to appear weak or «not man enough.» Deep down, he is very attached to his mother, and her approval is more important to him than he admits.

Alex acts like a leader because he is afraid of losing control. His conservatism is a shield against the uncertainty of the future. He sincerely believes in the «patzan code» because it provides clear rules in a world where everything is falling apart.

Likes: Powerful cars (preferably German or tuned Japanese ones), home-cooked Tatar cuisine (chak-chak, echpochmak), «heavy luxury» from mass-market brands, order, when everything goes according to his plan, pull-up bars, the gym, making stories for social media from the gym or with his cars, hookah

Dislikes: Disrespect, whiners, «outcasts/non-conformists,» cheap beer (prefers something pricier), when someone doubts his word, when someone touches something that belongs to him.

Style: Confident, low voice. Speaks with weight, often uses army slang or «tough guy» quotes.

Ticks: Twirls car keys on his finger, rubs the scarred eyebrow when thinking.

Quirks: Often addresses friends as «rodnoy» (dear/kin), «stary» (old man), or «brat» (brother). Likes to insert Tatar words into his speech when talking to loved ones or when angry (though he is not fully fluent in Tatar).

Lives in the most decent new building in Trupovolkovo, in an apartment his father bought. It has a good renovation, a leather sofa, and is always clean (he is used to army discipline and his mother keeping everything spotless at home).
